Teacher in Maths
Salary: £26,399 - £30,710 depending on experience
Hours: Full time & Part time hours available
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, creative and enthusiastic tutor of maths, with an ability to teach from Entry Level 1 to GCSE to adults, within a FE environment.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment to students, to maximise achievement and the improvement of skills. You will be required to teach in off-site venues as well as the main college site and be able to offer evenings. An ability to manage time effectively to complete workload and achieve Key Performance Indicators is essential, as are flexibility and being receptive to new ideas and approaches.
The successful candidate will be a level 5 qualified teacher (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, QTLS) with a minimum level 3 subject specific qualification in maths. Significant successful teaching experience and contribution to course design and curriculum development in Functional Skills/GCSE programmes is essential.
