Our client is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of glass and glazing products for the architectural, automotive and technical glass markets. They have principal operations in 29 countries and sales in over 130.

Their Automotive division operates as a single global organisation serving the Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket Glass Replacement (AGR) sectors.

A vacancy has arisen for a Branch Leader to join them to take operational responsibility for ensuring the Branch performs to optimal business standards across a range of disciplines, ensuring a continued safe, productive and customer-focused environment, whilst driving for continued improvement in customer service.

Within the role you will continuously develop a safe working attitude amongst employees, actively identifying training requirements for employees to ensure the highest possible standards of customer service to their customers and working with the Field Sales Manager to improve business with current customers and identify new customer targets. 

You must ensure that stock takes are maintained and issues such as breakages/ scratches are understood to avoid unnecessary costs and lost sales whilst ensuring the branch is run within budget.

Candidates will ideally have a good knowledge of the Automotive Glazing aftermarket industry and products with the ability to lead and direct the branch team, in order to ensure that customer schedules and targets are met and the required standards of safety, quality and customer service are achieved. 

With strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, you will be able to present proposals in both written and verbal format and have good IT skills with the ability to use Outlook, Word and Excel.  Strong analytical skills are essential as you will be required to identify patterns in performance data and implement corrective action when required.
