Our organisation is working with a global commercial insurer that is looking to add to their motor injury team. You will be responsible for a caseload of third party injury claims and supporting the Claims Manager to provide a cost effective, customer focused claims service.
Role Responsibilities:
* Investigating and settling motor injury claims files, working up to a £25,000 settlement limit
* Managing a large personal caseload of claims files from initial review through to final settlement
* Liaising with customers, legal experts and third parties to ensure a satisfactory conclusion of all claims
* Working closely with the Claims Manager on claims strategy and process improvement
* Technical lead for more junior handlers giving guidance where required
Skills / Knowledge Required:
* 2+ year's motor injury claims exp. gained at a reputable motor insurer or legal practice
* Strong understanding of all aspects of motor claims including third party liability and injury (MOJ/Non-MOJ)
* Strong legal assessment skills and thorough understanding of litigation and quantum
* Commercial awareness of the motor insurance industry
* Ability to work in a target driven environment
* Strong client / customer focus with ability to deal with Third Parties, Brokers and Legal Professionals
* CII Cert preferred but not essential
