LOCATION: Rye, East Sussex
JOB TITLE: Practice Nurse
SALARY & BENEFITS: Depending on skills and experience
WORKING HOURS: Between the Medical Centre's hours of 8:30 - 6:30pm 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Full time position but would consider 2 x part time positions.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a Medical Centre based in Rye, East Sussex who provide a wide range of medical services for local residents and residents of surrounding areas. They have over 7000 subscribed patients and aim to provide a high standard of personal health care to patients, from one-off problems to longer-term illnesses. Due to a recent opening an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Full or Part Time Practice Nurse to join their team.
THE ROLE: Based within the medical centre in Rye, East Sussex your role as a Practice Nurse will include all aspects of Nursing duties and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities of a Practice Nurse to include:-
• Chronic disease management
• Medication management
• Family planning including cervical screening
• Immunisations
• Patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment, where applicable.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Practice Nurse role will have a hands on approach. You will be friendly, compassionate and an effective communicator and team player and will share the Medical Group's goal of delivering a high standard of care to the patients.
Key experience essential for the role of Practice Nurse based in Rye, East Sussex:
• Must live within a commutable distance of Rye, East Sussex
• Must be a RGN Qualified Nurse
• Will be NMC registered.
• The applicant will ideally have experience working in a similar role/environment.
• Any experience in cardiology is highly desirable but not essential
