HR Administrator- Maternity Cover

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for an experienced administrator to provide HR assistance to Directors by overseeing all HR documentation, collating and updating training records and assisting with recruitment.

Job Details:

This is a challenging and varied role in which you will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing the scheduling and booking of any routine or unplanned HR meetings including Return to Work Interviews, Appraisals and Grievance meetings.
  • To be responsible for running staff inductions and keeping training records up to date.
  • To work alongside the Directors to implement training plans.
  • To write up meeting notes, process HR documentation and ensure it is saved in the appropriate location and brought to the attention of the appropriate person.
  • Ensuring HR database is continually kept up to date.
  • To assist with recruitment of new staff and overseeing probation process



The role is offered on a part time basis- three days/ week for maternity cover

Salary: 15-20k pro rata, depending on experience

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office packages
  • Able to plan and work to timescales and deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in administration
