Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant's assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world.

Due to continued growth and success, as well as the need to plan for the future, an exciting apprenticeship programme is offered covering a variety of areas within MINI.

Changing the face of roads through exciting, unconventional ideas, the MINI brand is distinctive and firmly placed at the dynamic, advanced end of the automotive market.

Within unparalleled success and a vibrant, fast-moving culture, you won’t want to miss out on this amazing opportunity to develop your career with this fantastic company.

As an Apprentice at MINI, you will have the chance to undertake one of several specialisms that is targeted at the area you would like to pursue a career in. These areas include manufacturing, engineering, technical and business, dependant on your particular skill-set and the direction you would like to move in.

Within the manufacturing, engineering and technical areas, you’ll be working with the latest technology and state-of-the-art engineering and production techniques. You’ll be working in a number of different functions to ensure you have the chance to absorb the full spectrum of what MINI has to offer.

If your skill-set leads you to specialise in the more business-related functions, you’ll have the chance to spend significant time with the Logistics team. Our Logistics teams are vitally important in all areas of our business, including Programme Planning, Logistics Planning, Material Control and Logistics Operations.

If you join our IT apprenticeship you'll have three years to study the technology and systems engineering behind our technical equipment, then start to build your specialist career. That career could involve software and hardware installations, PC client support, BMW LAN / WAN networking tasks or ensuring the integrity of production systems.

To be considered, you must have, at a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade B or above (Grade 6 in the new GCSE grading structure) and three other GCSEs at grade C or above. Equally important are your great communication and team working skills.
