Quantity Surveyor x2 - SC Cleared

My client requires 2 SC Cleared Quantity Surveyor that will be responsible for ensuring that they conform to agreed processes and operating procedures and particularly those relating to the key infrastructure processes of cost benchmarking, cost monitoring and value for money assurance.

Key tasks include:

Provide advice, support and guidance on Quantity Surveying related issues - Benchmarking, Value Management/Value engineering, Whole life costs, Risk analysis/Estimating and Management, Investment Appraisals, Value for Money, Contractual Claims, Changes and Disputes

Support programme development in the production of early budgetary estimates.

Develop effective business relationships with Project Delivery team members in supporting the attainment of team objectives.

Develop effective business relationships with IPs in ensuring adoption of functional Quantity Surveying best practice in the delivery of projects.

Provide functional Quantity Surveying expertise and support to the wider Project Delivery businesses

Undertake reviews of contract adherence across Project Delivery.

Undertake contract compliance audits.

Support the commercial function in the evaluation of, and negotiation of Tenders, Contract Changes and Compensation Events.

Support programme development in the production of early budgetary estimates.

Provide advice, support and guidance on Quantity Surveying related issues - Benchmarking, Value Management/Value engineering, Whole life costs, Risk analysis/Estimating and Management, Investment Appraisals, Value for Money, Contractual Claims, Changes and Disputes

Provide senior management with appropriate reports to support decision making.

Act as contract specific Quantity Surveying functional expert in all aspects of Price validation and agreement, including dispute resolution.
