Payments Administrator

New opportunity not to be missed! Speedy Cash have an exciting opportunity available for a Payments Administrator to join our team based in our Nottingham contact centre. The successful Payments Administrator will receive a competitive salary of £15,000 - £16,000 per annum + benefits.

Payments Administrator Main Job Purpose

To provide administrative support by taking responsibility for the day to day processes within the Payments Back Office Team.

Responsibilities as our Payments Administrator

- Allocation of payments onto customer accounts

- Creation of Statement of Accounts – documentation requested by Customers

- Raising refunds

- Utilising in-house software to bulk apply payments from Debt Management and Collection companies

- Electronic and paper filing

- Responding to customer requests

- Identifying and resolving issues with customer payments

- Utilising in-house software to quality check other colleagues work

- Communicating with third parties to resolve payment issues 

- Ensure the day-to-day delivery of the six defined fair customer outcomes across all business functions

- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures across all business functions

Our ideal Payments Administrator will have:

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal

- Strong numeric skills

- Excellent attention-to-detail

- Good telephone manner

- PC literate

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook and Windows OS

Desirable

- An understanding of consumer services

- Experience within the Financial sector and an understanding of the FCA
