REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing Company.
We are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Manager for a Global client specialising in the Manufacturng/Engineering Sectors within a niche global market.
As a Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for providing engineering direction and support to the Manufacturing/Machining Operations within the site. You will be looking at existing manufacturing methods and improving them to optimise profitability and reduce lead times. Analyse overall equipment effectiveness and carry out improvement projects. You will also be responsible for supporting the deployment of total preventative maintenance on equipment and maintaining accurate records of BOM, routings and manufacturing process times.
The Ideal candidate will have an HND/C/Degree qualified in a Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent work experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge and proven experience of working within a Manufacturing/Machining environment and have an excellent understanding of Lean, six sigma and improvement processes.
Candidates from a Enginering/Manaufacturing background is Essential, knowldge of supply within the global OEM markets would also be high advantageous.
Car + Bonus will also be included in this role.
