CY Executive Resourcing are currently working with an NHS Trust based in the South West who are looking to recruit a Band 7 Senior Procurement Manager on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
This role would suit an experienced Procurement Manager, preferably with previous Clinical experience. You will work closely with the Head of Procurement and with the Trust's clinical and corporate departments to deliver efficiencies in support of the Trust's challenging Cost Improvement Program.
Managing a small team of Procurement Managers, the Senior Procurement Manager will need to work well under pressure. You will have excellent organisation skills and be able to manage a demanding workload. You must have proven experience of managing large value contracts and be able to influence key stakeholders across multiple sites.
Essential Requirements for this role:
- Proven track record leading on a portfolio of procurement contracts and strategic projects
- CIPS qualified
- Strong commercial acumen
- Detailed understanding of all procurement procedures, including EU tendering
- Demonstrable experience of delivering savings and managing complex projects.
- Ability to communicate at all levels
