Lead IT Project Manager

Our Project Practice division is growing fast, with infrastructure projects typically including contractual service transactions, transformations, data centre relocations, rollouts, WAN and IP projects, and VDI/Virtualisation engagements. You'll work across this project range, getting to know many different customers. We'll empower you to find and deliver the solutions that put customer needs first, trust your judgement to make the big decisions and give you the space to get things done. Your role will extend from producing bids and running PDWs to final delivery of the project. This will mean taking charge of resource and team management, estimating, planning and commercials, risk management and governance. Introducing best practices, such as PRINCE2, enhancing service offerings and spotting opportunities to add value will all be key. You must have experience of assisting with managing large, complex IT infrastructure transition or transformation projects, plus working on change management projects, risk management and project set-ups. You'll also need the ability to assist with running PDWs and writing bid proposals.

Working across this project range, your role will extend from producing bids and running PDWs to final project delivery. We're looking for experience of assisting managing large or small, IT infrastructure transition or transformation projects. This should be combined with Knowledge of Project initiation, change management, risk management, and the principles and practicalities of running projects.
