Mantra Learning has a unique opportunity available for a Work Based Learning DGV/Traffic Office Tutor/Training Advisor to join the team based in the North West. This role is 37.5 hours per week worked flexibly - which may also include a shift pattern to meet the needs of the business. We are offering a salary of £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience.

As our Learning DGV/Traffic Office Tutor/Training Advisor your primary focus will be to deliver quality training and assessment and ensure all training elements are completed in accordance with awarding bodies’ requirements.  You will also be expected to contribute to continuous improvement within the department and support team members. 

The role also requires you to have a high level of confidentiality and work within the guidelines of the Data Protection Act 1998; in particular to take all reasonable care that no unauthorised disclosure of personal data occurs.

What are the responsibilities of the Learning DGV/Traffic Office Tutor/Training Advisor?

- To deliver quality training and assessment in centre or on company premises in keeping with the high standards demanded by Mantra Learning Ltd and the relevant awarding bodies.

- Ensure all training elements are completed in accordance with the awarding bodies’ requirements and programme guidelines and within the agreed time scales required to achieve the QCF/apprenticeship framework award.

- To deliver quality teaching to the needs of the programme, including the improvement of profitability and growth.

- Maintain centre records / systems in accordance with the awarding bodies’ criteria and ensure that all records are accurate, legible and in the approved format.

- To ensure learners are visited, seen and assessed in keeping with the assessment schedule and that they are reviewed in accordance with LSC requirements.

- To ensure the learner has sufficient underpinning knowledge to achieve QCF and / or framework and that they are encouraged to achieve their goals in a firm, fair and friendly manner.

- To ensure all workplace supervisors are familiar with the assessment / monitoring process.

- Attend meetings and training sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills in order to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.

- Achieve key performance targets.

- Develop excellent communication links with other inter-related departments.

- To monitor health and safety at the workplace.

- To promote all Mantra Learning Ltd products.

- You will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement within the department and your team. 

- Undertake any reasonable request made by senior management.

- Working flexible hours to meet the needs of the department as agreed with the WBL Manager which may include a shift pattern.

Our ideal Learning DGV/Traffic Office Tutor/Training Advisor will have the following skills & experience:

- Training / coaching experience

- Experience of transport industry as a driver and/or supervisor

- Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels

- Administration experience

- Able to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
