Deputy Nursery Manager in Chester

Randstad Education are recruiting in partnership with a nursery in Chester for a Deputy Manager.

It is a permanent vacancy to start immediately.

40 hours per week - Full Time

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving and expanding nursery and pre-school located in a picturesque, rural village located just outside Chester. The village has great road and public transport links.

You will receive an excellent salary, and you will be eligible for a target driven annual bonus.

Your duties will include supporting the Nursery Manager On a daily basis with the following:

- Managing staff, and assisting in their training and development.
- Ensuring targets are being met and the nursery's high standards are being maintained.
- Liaising with parents and carers, and the senior management team.
- Managing the nursery routine, including the 'out of hours' club.

The ideal candidate would:

- Need to be flexible, adaptable and have a clear desire and passion to work with children.
- Ideally hold a degree in childcare (or equivalent) and have EYT or PGCE status.
- Hold a full UK driving License
- Have at least 2 years childcare experience, with ideally 2 additional years management experience.
