Quality / Technical Assistant – Sweet Manufacturer (Entry Level)
Crediton, Devon
Up to £20,000 DOE

Are you a highly organised individual looking to embark on an exciting career? If so, this is an incredible opportunity to increase your skill-set with a leading creator of confectionery treats.

Boasting a rich and authentic heritage, our client is on a mission to share their amazing sweets with the world, one bonbon at a time. They’re now looking for a Quality / Technical Assistant to join their dedicated team.

If you love sweets as much as our client does, you’ll believe that each bonbon should be brilliant, every toffee should be terrific and all fudge should be fantastic.

In this key role, you’ll gain valuable insight into the world of manufacturing whilst helping to make sure that our client’s products are second-to-none.

As a Quality / Technical Assistant, you’ll be tasked with ensuring that our client’s confectionery products are of the highest standards.

Sadly, that doesn’t mean you’ll get to eat sweets all day (sorry). However, you’ll play an important role within the business by making sure that all quality and process standards are adhered to. You’ll help to identify potential improvements and enable our client to become better than ever before.

Your duties will involve:

- Investigating any non-conformances
- Assessing the quality of products throughout their shelf life
- Conducting internal audits
- Assisting with the creation of quality and technical documentation
- Monitoring personnel and environmental hygiene standards
- Responding to and swiftly investigating any customer complaints

Interested? Whilst no experience is necessary, to be considered, you’ll need a great eye for detail, a highly organised approach and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Flexible and adaptable, as a Quality / Technical Assistant, you’ll be able to quickly respond to process demands whilst prioritising your own workload. You’ll also be able to work effectively within a team to solve problems and achieve a common goal.
