Industrial Lubricants Service Engineer BLUI44701

Our client is part of a multi-national US owned, Fortune 200 company.  They develop, manufacture and market technically advanced lubricants to industries worldwide. Their success is based on building first class relationships with their customers, by providing a complete solution to their needs, delivered via superior technical sales and after sales support.

Due to their continued success, they now have a requirement for an Industrial Lubricants Service Engineer to join them (to be based in South Wales/Cardiff/Bristol). Travel may be up to four hours away from home and therefore overnight stays may be necessary during the normal working week. Occasionally you may be asked to provide sickness or holiday cover for colleagues across the UK during which time you would need overnight stays away from home. The job would be working five days out of every seven, however they do not currently have any contracts requiring Sunday working.

This is a varied role which will require the successful candidate to undertake service visits of both existing and potential new customers to carry out lubrication in line with pre-prepared schedules. Some minor installation work such as remote piping grease nipples will be required. You will advise customers on ‘world class’ lubrication practices and techniques, complete service reports and prepare case histories to demonstrate the benefits that you have provided to your customers.

Site servicing experience is useful, but not essential, however you will need to demonstrate strong personal discipline and be able to work on own initiative.
