Do you want to work for a company that really makes a difference? We now have fantastic opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Retirement Team at Barwick House & Russell Way schemes based in East Northamptonshire.

Location: Barwick House & Russell Way, Rushden & Higham area, East Northants
Salary: £7,399 rising to £7,789 per annum after successful completion of probation
Hours: 15 Hours per Week (
10 hours at Barwick House & 5 hours at Russell Way)
Contract Type: Temporary

As a Scheme Manager you are responsible for managing the day to day running of two local retirement schemes and working closely with residents and other Midland Heart staff to ensure that the buildings are safe & adequately maintained and to monitor the general welfare of residents to promote their safety, independence and happiness.

We are looking for people who:

  • Can provide clear information to residents on services provided to ensure customer requirements are met wherever possible.
  • Can monitor, record and ensure that all health & safety checks are completed and follow up actions are notified.
  • Can effectively oversee the repairs reporting procedure & chase up any concerns or variations
  • Is a practical clear-thinking person who can remain calm in an emergency situation
  • Is sympathetic towards the needs of the elderly whilst fostering a friendly atmosphere
