Deputy Nursing Manager Salary: ??36,000.00 circa Hours: Full-time Location: Burnham, Slough Established since 1992, we're an award winning charity and not-for-profit organisation that provides first class care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1,800 staff supporting over 2,000 residents at 58 services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes and North London. Right now, we're looking for a Deputy Nursing Manager to join our team at Lent Rise, a contemporary, purpose built nursing/residential home providing care for residents on our Nursing Wings. Lent Rise provides nursing and dementia care for people who have difficulty with mobility, or with physical conditions requiring medical attention and treatment. We want you to help us by taking the clinical lead for the home and being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and delivery of nursing care. Day-to-day, you'll carry out risk assessments and clinical audits, update support plans and oversee medication management, and much more besides. Above all, you'll see that our resident care needs are met and that the Nursing team is focused on providing the very best customer care. A qualified Nurse (RGN minimum) with an Assessor's Award, you're ideally educated to degree level. We'll also be looking for knowledge of the client group and a real desire to play a leading role in the running of a care home where you can act as a positive and forward thinking role model to the Nursing team. Excellent problem solving skills are vital too, as is lots of initiative, the people skills it takes to manage a team of nurses and a genuine commitment to grow and develop. In return, we offer: ??
