Estimator / Sales Coordinator
Salisbury, SP4
Negotiable D.O.E + 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays + excellent bonus scheme
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator / Sales Coordinator to join a growing packaging manufacturer based in Salisbury, SP4.
Our client is one of the UK’s premier manufacturers of bespoke protective cases and engineered foam inserts. They offer a full design service, with each case providing a precise fit and an engineered level of protection. Utilising a range of techniques, they also manufacture custom foam inserts for a bespoke level of protection.
Position Summary
As Estimator / Sales Coordinator, your main role will be to interpret and process quotation requests from customers and the external sales team, actively seeking to ensure you convert these to orders.
Additionally, your daily responsibilities will include:
• Take, interpret and process quotation requests from customers and the external sales team
• Actively seek to convert quotations to orders
• Support the external sales team
• Provide historical trends on orders, customer activity and pricing
• Evaluate information from previous orders
About you:
The successful candidate will have the required skills and experience to thrive within this role, including;
• Experience within a similar role is desirable and using CRM software
• Track record in sales and / or account management and / or customer service
• Excellent telephone manner and overall communication skills, both verbal and written
• Well organised and task driven
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships
• Proficient use of Microsoft office systems, excel, word and other office applications;
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines
• An understanding of manufacturing
