Our organisation is working with a leading Lloyd's insurance business that is looking to hire a Delegated Authority Oversight & Operations Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the claims team with the management of third parties and external suppliers. You will also provide operational oversight and complete other tasks such as data administration and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
* Principal responsibility for the oversight and management of the framework governing third parties (Third Party Administrators, delegated claims authorities and experts) used by the Claims team
* Responsibility for managing the completeness and accuracy of the content of the Expert Management database
* Ensure that there are current agreements in place with all third parties used by the Claims team#
* Ensure that the agreements in place all follow a consistent format / content for the particular type of third party and that where differences are identified, the agreement is re-issued
* Identify and communicate to those Third Parties to whom claims authority is delegated ( TPA's and Coverholders. ) the standards claims data required for bordereaux population
* Manage the initial due diligence and renewal process for third parties used by the Claims team
* Maintain the audit database with details of completed and scheduled audits
Skills / Experience Required:
* Strong background and knowledge in delegated underwriting, across insurance and reinsurance
* Strong understanding of regulatory matters within insurance claims
* Strong relationship management skills, particularly with TPA's and Coverholders
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* LLMIT preferred
* ACII / CII preferred
