Play Area Supervisor Vacancy

Hours: 26 hours minimum Thursday, Friday and Saturday with flexibility to change or increase as the business requires.

We’re looking for a Play Area Supervisor who can work in a varied role, supervise, motivate and work along side and an established friendly team.  This is a hands on role and you’ll need to muck in with a variety of duties to enable the smooth running, cleanliness and welcoming environment we are proud of.

You will need to lead by example offering excellent customer service whilst being

Friendly, courteous and with a helpful manner.  You’ll be working in a fast environment so you’ll need to be organised and efficient in your approach to work with effective communication skills, face to face verbal communication and a good telephone manner. Your appearance should be smart and clean.

Flexibility to cover sickness and holidays is essential this will include weekends, bank holidays and you must be prepared to work occasional evenings.

Experience of café environment would be an advantage, supervisory or management skills are preferred. 

Responsibility include

Open and close the venue, day to day running of all café staff

Making sure that deliveries are received and associated paperwork is kept up to date

Maintaining high standards of quality and service as well as the cleaning schedules being maintained

Able to step in cook and prepare food as part of a multi skilled team

Over seeing food quality standards to maintain our 5 star hygiene rating

Cash handling and balancing of till.
