Production Manager

My client require an experienced Production Manager to work at their established site in Devizes.

The company design and manufacture kitchens, bathrooms and high end bespoke furniture therefore, a keen eye for detail and hands on approach is essential for this role.  As an excellent communicator, you will manage the daily production of this fast paced Joinery and liaise with your staff and management, to ensure the highest standards are maintained in all departments.

You will be a strong leader and have a minimum of two years’ experience working within a similar role and be time served as a Joiner or an equivalent position, within a manufacturing environment.

Working effectively to budget and tight deadlines, you will also have the following responsibilities;

·        Drawing up the production schedule using online tools

·        Reviewing projects for feasibility 

·        Ensures that the production process is efficient and effective

·        Allocates resources required to deliver each project and adjusts schedules as needed

·        Have an excellent understanding of health and safety in the workplace

·        Assess and Identify Risk

·        Lean construction knowledge

·        Planning & programming skills

·        The ability to interpret drawings, to take this information and process these into cutting lists.

Previous managerial experience is preferable for this position however, candidates looking to take the next step up may be considered, should they express their drive and passion to progress.
