IOS Software Developer

A market leading mPayment Solutions Company are recruiting for a lead iOS platform developer - to develop, expand and maintain Objective-C codebase used in marketing applications across the UK and Europe.

You'll be focused, creative and enthusiastic about building great iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch user experiences.

The company have developed an extremely credible reputation by delivering ground-breaking solutions to multiple blue chip clients. They are ambitious to replicate this in various locations globally and in other vertical markets.

Whilst the primary responsibilities are client-side code, it will be advantageous to have working knowledge and experience of Back End platform technologies, including C# .NET and a good practical understanding of cloud systems and web services. We are looking for candidates with an engineering, architectural and R&D mindset, excited about pushing the capabilities of iOS.

Essential skills

• 3-5 years' experience in commercial iOS development
• Good understanding of Object Orientated programming and modern design (C++, Design Patterns, MVC etc)
• Objective-C up to latest iOS SDK with Xcode 6
• Performance profiling and memory management analysis using Xcode's Instruments tools
• Programmatic use of CocoaTouch APIs, Grand Central Dispatch, SQLite, JSONKit, JavaScriptCore etc.
• Experience of using CocoaPods
• Experience of continuous integration for iOS
• Good understanding of app distribution systems such as TestFlight, HockeyApp etc.
• Experience working in a rapid Agile environment
• Version control using Git and Subversion
• Excellent spoken and written English
