Purpose of role

SmithCorp has recently undergone a complete re-brand and we are now in the process of refreshing all of our individual brands; updated positioning, logos and new websites. SmithCorp are committed to improving their marketing and are keen to build on this investment by creating a new position to ensure continued focus and improvement.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a bright, smart & enthusiastic go getter, a dynamic marketing professional! This is an exciting opportunity as it is a brand new role and you will take ownership for marketing across the group and supercharge our marketing communications.

The core objectives of the role are to:

- increase awareness & recognition of the brand
- attract talent to the business
- manage & curate the brand
- drive internal engagement

Core responsibilities

Lead the planning, development and execution of external communication strategies for SmithCorp;

Devise, implement & manage social media strategy for the group - Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Manage content across various communications channels including websites, email, intranet, video, social media.

Act as web editor for the group website as well as the individual brands, publishing regular updates.

Measure website performance on monthly basis using Google analytics
Advise & support internal recruitment on all marketing activities e.g. job board ads, events, trade shows, emailers and advertising. Build integrated omni-channel marketing campaigns from scratch and execute them.

Manage the development, implementation, and coordination of internal
communication strategies to help employees understand and engage the
company's vision, strategy and culture.

Serve as the communications counsel to the Executive team, and write
executive communications such as, emails, newsletters, etc

Act as brand ambassador, and ensure consistent messaging through all marketing touch points.

Pull together PR releases and award entries.

Help organise company events, conferences, all staff meetings.

Manage agency relationships as the day to day point of contact.

Skills & Experience

- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging content and collateral
- Website editing, knowledge of content management systems
- Understanding of SEO, PPC an advantage
- Social media strategy & best practise
- HTML and email marketing experience would be beneficial
- Lead generation
- Google Analytics & performance marketing
