JOB SPECIFICATION - Trainee Field Sales Manager - Construction, Interiors Flooring

To grow a region in the north of England which has existing business but a lot of potential for growth, so a real chance to make a name for yourself, by developing existing, but most importantly making new contacts across the architect/ specification, main contractor and flooring contractor markets. Ideally you will be looking for higher value projects or those with some added value, but projects could range from a couple of thousand up to GBP50k to GBP70k. You will be aiming to do ten visits a week and a good volume of telephone/ prospecting work. You will need to be determined and articulate to get in front of architects main contractors and flooring contractors, work up a relationship with them whereby they specify and install my client`s products. The company is very strong on marketing in terms of their website, they also on the RIBA database which private architectural and governmental
specifiers use and they also subscribe to Glenigans for leads and do other marketing activity like E-Shots, exhibitions etc.
