Project Coordinator/Project Leader/Project Manager/Project Support (Retail/IT Services) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months contract. The successful applicant will be required to work out of our client's Uxbridge, Middlesex office with regular travel to their Paddington, London office.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Manages and leads the delivery of the work package or project stage in partnership with the customer and Business Unit to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service take place.
- Defines the work package or project stage requirements and manages the agreement process of requirements and objectives.
- Reports to the Project Board through Highlight Reports and stage assessments.
- Ensures that formal review procedures are used.
- Manages the risks associated with the deliverables of the project in line with BMS standards.
- Ensures that the impact on the Business Units P&L due to project activities within the scope of the project is clearly visible and that all contingency usage is signed-off by the appropriate governance authority.
- Builds and manages the project relationship with key stakeholders (customer, subcontractors etc.).
- The role holder will ensure that the contracted customers requirements are met by the work package or project stage and delivered to the agreed project definition.
- Skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Microsoft SharePoint is desirable.
- Financial reporting.
- Change Management.
- Prince 2 & ITIL awareness.
