This is a fantastic experience for an experiencedKey Account Manager to join our successful and expanding client who supplies their products to retailers across the globe.

Based onsite within the Export team, theKey Account Manager will be responsible for:

- Managing a group of key international customer accounts
- Main point of contact for queries relating to orders, invoices, deliveries, stock availability, catalogue requests as well as complaints
- Provide high levels of customer service
- Account management, developing relationships
- Attending European trade shows and visiting customers abroad
- Following up on sales leads from inbound enquiries or via the website or from trade shows
- Proactive sales calls to maximise sales of new products to existing customers
- Negotiate on prices of product
- Assist the sales administrator with order processing if required
- Ensures the smooth running from customer order to delivery

Bonus is paid Quarterly after the first 6 months with the company.
Based upon KPIs and turnover growth of customer accounts you manage.

Skills & Experience required from theKey Account Manager include:

- Ideally 2 years+salesaccount management/internal sales/business developmentexperience
- Previous experience of working with and growing/ developing key accounts or national accounts
- Previous experience of attending Trade Shows
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer focused
- Ability to develop relationships & build strong working partnerships
- Proven track record of working to targets
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Organised and able to plan own workload with changing priorities
- Ability to speak a European language would be highly beneficial though not essential

-Note, due to the nature of the role, theKey Account Manager must be able to :

- Drive and have own transport
- Be flexible with European travel (approx.1/2 visits per quarter with a colleague; on average 2-3 days away; attendance at 2/3 Trade Shows per year; all fully expensed)

This role would suit a KeyAccount Manager, a Business Development Manager, a Sales Coordinator, a Sales Administrator, an Account Coordinator, Internal Sales, National Account Controller, National Account Administrator, an Export Sales Representative, a Merchandiser or a Buyer's Assistant. If you work in the offices of a retailer or your customers are retailers, this would be ideal.

Note, this is an office based role NOT a field sales position.
