"Things to do in" is a local online A-Z business advertising directory, targeting families and people visiting a new town, city, country or looking for 'things to do' in their town. It allows customers to showcase their businesses via a one stop shop for online advertising at very affordable rates. Although a relatively new company, they are constantly expanding into new areas to keep up with customer demand. They are currently one of the fastest growing Directory's in the UK.
The average cost to each business is GBP299 for a 12month period - out of this you will receive minimum of GBP100 per sale. A good salesperson can expect to get at least 2-3 sales per day. Commission is paid within 7 days of the customer signing up. After a qualifying period of time this role may evolve into a paid salary with bonuses based on performance.
Following on from the success of the directory 'Things to do in' are now looking for self-motivated, sales hungry individuals to join their growing team. This role would ideally suit individuals who are comfortable in a self-employed environment and are able to develop their own business whilst being part of a Regional team.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:-
- Field Sales
- Cross selling and upselling
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Achieving individual Targets
- Building relationships
- Identifying customers' needs and requirements
- Explaining options available
- Dealing with all enquiries and closing deals
All applicants MUST have the following skills & experience:-
- Background in sales/business development
- You will be a self-starter who can work alone and generate new business sales from scratch
- You will have good communication skills that are engaging, strong and clear
- You should demonstrate positive energy and natural enthusiasm
- You will be a good team player who can support and be supported
- Basic IT skills an advantage
- Motivated with a desire to exceed targets
- Professional with a great telephone manner
- Good work ethic
