Trainee CAD Technician
A national large and established civil biased design equipment and process layout company are seeking new blood to join their CAD Teams in the Midlands. The company support a number of large civil and retail installation programmes across the UK and have a strong history of developing junior staff into qualified and industry respected design specialists.
This is an opportunity to join a 6 month training programme with live project activities, along with academic and technical class room training, resulting in paper qualifications and accreditations.
This training period will then be followed by continuation training and mentoring from industry managers in a live CAD Team environment.
The company are trying to create home grown skilled individuals who will offer long term loyalty and commitment to the organisation national network of offices.
This is a great opportunity for a recent Graduate or College leaver who has may be studied a mechanical, structural or civil qualification and has gain some academic experience of AutoCAD or a similar package, to develop a long term career in an industry wide respected organisation.
Requirements
A formal qualification in Engineering - Civil - Mechanical - Design
A general understanding of 2D CAD
Good Communication and presentation skills
Already live within a commuting distance of Worcester
Please note that this position will require an applicant to already be an EU Citizen and be able to live and work in the Worcestershire area.
