Based from my client's Head Office - commutable from Dorset, Poole, Salisbury, Yeovil, Christchurch, Eastleigh, Winchester, Dorchester, Southampton, Bournemouth
My client design, develop, and manufacture a range of bespoke engineering solutions for applications within fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, water treatment, heat transfer and many more. An incredible opportunity for a Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer has arisen with this innovative company who pride themselves on their highly skilled design and development team. They are looking to recruit a Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to develop their range of electro-mechanical equipment.
Reporting to the Design Manager, the role will encompass the following responsibilities:
- Develop Mechanical & Electronic products
- Utilise Solidworks 3D and 2D CAD experience
- Deliver a well-engineered product fit for manufacture
- Develop improvements to current product range
- Ensure all products meet relevant standards
- Work closely with other Engineers to share ideas
My client are looking for applications from Junior Design Engineers - candidates with some industry experience in design from a mechanical background, used to working with electro-mechanical products. The essential knowledge for this position is experience with 3D CAD packages: Solidworks experience is preferred, although training can be provided on this package if needed.
