Sales Engineer
Package: GBP30k-GBP38k (OTE 10k) + Car + Pension + Health Care + 25 days holiday
A global manufacturer in the Air conditioning sector are looking to increase their sales through distribution in the UK and Ireland.
The position has come about as we are looking to strongly develop the UK Distribution network with someone who has a strong positive approach to business development, and who can work closely with the Head of Sales to develop a coherent strategy for increasing sales.
In the role you will:
- Identify under performing distributors and work towards increasing sales.
- Ensure distributors have the necessary level of technical and commercial support
- Develop a framework for growing the relationships in these areas
- Establish new relationships/reignite old and dormant relationships and to
- Drive forward the brand in conjunction with new marketing and point of sales tools
- Manage the existing network of distributors
- To support Distributor customer's, staff and branches in the application and quotation of the companies products and services,
- Work with Direct Sales team to move high risk or low spending customers to Distribution partners.
- Report on monthly targets and forecasts.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of Distributor, Competitors products, personnel and structure.
The Requirements:
- Possess knowledge of Air Conditioning Products.
- You will ideally have a proven track record in contractor sales.
- External sales experience is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of selling HVAC products to Distributors and M&E Contractors.
- You should be a results orientated self-starter who will make a positive impact and contribution to the growth of the business.
- Ideally you will have experience selling; Chillers, Air Handling Units, Fans, Heat Recovery Units, Fan Coil Units, Chilled Beams, Pumps, Valves, Commercial Heat Pumps, Air to Water Heat Pumps, Water to Water Heat Pumps or any other Mechanical products.
