This family-owned Group has become a leading housewares supplier of some of Britain's best known brands
Their headquarters are in Liverpool and they design and develop kitchen, dining and cookware products, and supply them nationally and internationally.
They are looking to appoint an experienced CAD Technician to join the design team.
The successful person will be creative and dynamic, with experience in a similar role.
Job requirements
- The role enables the development and documenting of new products by the timely completion of part and assembly drawings according to specification.
- The successful candidate will provide drafting support to the R&D Department.
- This role would suit a candidate with previous experience in Solidworks looking for a busy and challenging role.
Skills Required
- Excellent CAD / 3D modelling skills for creating parts, assemblies and 2D drawings.
- Software: SolidWorks, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering or design discipline
- Strong documentation ability and a good eye for detail.
- Ability to update and record changes to existing 2D drawings / 3D CAD Models to reflect design changes.
- Experience of plastic injection moulding, sheet metal fabrication and machining.
- Knowledge of high volume of manufacturing processes.
