An exciting field sales opportunity has arisen to work for this global market leader in full-line chemical distribution. Linking chemical manufacturers and chemical users the company provides business-to-business distribution solutions for industrial and specialty chemicals globally.
SALARY: GBP33,000 as a basic salary with the opportunity to earn up to GBP45,000 OTE. Benefits also include quality company car, target related commission, 25 days holiday + 8 statutory, Company pension scheme, childcare vouchers plus excellent training and development opportunities.
LOCATION: Candidates will cover Kent, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex and South London as a territory and work from the office one day a week.
You will be selling a wide range of industrial chemicals, speciality chemicals, food ingredients and water treatment chemicals to a whole host of end users such as food manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, power stations, engineering companies, distributors, waste management companies and export companies to name but a few.
You will be tasked with maintaining a large account base as well as generating new business. You will also be responsible for spending one day a week working from the office booking appointments and spending the remaining 4 days out on the road conducting 4 appointments a day.
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years field sales experience and the ability to quickly learn new products and services, although any experience or knowledge of the chemical industry would be a distinct advantage.
You will also be an experienced sales professional and proven relationship builder who can demonstrate the ability to manage and successfully develop key accounts in a technically oriented and service driven field.
