CAD Technician - West Midlands - Infrastructure & Temporary Works
The Role
A top UK main civil engineering contractor is looking to recruit a CAD Technician to join their design team in the West Midlands. The company operates across the highways, rail & aviation sectors and has offices/sites UK wide. The successful CAD Technician will focus on temporary works solutions for a variety of infrastructure schemes. My client is looking for a CAD Technician who is enthusiastic, a team player and that will thrive in their busy office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Producing 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Carry out site surveys
- Consistently maintaining high standards while working to deadlines
- Communicate effectively with clients and site engineers
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with CDM 2015
- Assist with the logging and organisation of technical data
Important Criteria
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience as a CAD Technician
- Temporary works design experience - essential
- Must be a UK resident
- Full UK driving license
Remuneration
- Salary up to GBP30,000
- Car/Allowance
- Annual Bonus
- 28 days annual leave
