Position -Registered General Nurse - Wards - SomersetRef - ZARGNWDSSOMSalary - ??22,905 - ??25,783 Hours -Full TimeOur client is looking for an experienced Registered General Nurse to join their Nursing Team on the Wards at the Treatment Centre. The centre treats NHS patients and is focused on providing the best possible, personalised care to the people of Somerset. They offer a range of treatments and also provide diagnostic services, using the latest MRI, ultrasound and plain film x-ray technology. A recent CQC inspection showed that patients are positive about their experience and that staff were focused on providing care and effective treatment and support to patients.Job SummaryTo actively support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvements. To deliver direct patient care to a group of designated patients during their inpatient episode, delegating and supervising care delivery of HCA's ensuring optimal standards at all times. Ensuring care and practices meet all external requirements of regulatory bodies working to the NMC code of practice at all times and within the framework of the Treatment Centre policies and procedures.Effectively manage and lead staff, supplies and equipment. This will involve taking charge of the ward in the absence of more senior staff providing the appropriate level of competence has been achieved.To teach junior staff, patients and relatives, promote health education and keep abreast of nursing developments and research. To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary practicing and maintaining a high standard of clinical care and participating in all activities of the department to enhance the patients experience and ensuring safety for patients, visitors and staff in the department.Responsibilities:As a Registered Nurse you will support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvements, and ensure care and practiced meet all external requirements of regulatory bodies.
