TM Resourcing are currently recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Sheffield area for a leading waste management company dealing with recyclable products.
My client is requiring an individual who can develop and grow an existing sales area, working on both new and existing business. You will need to be able to provide customers with attention to detail and excellent customer support. Previous experience of selling a service and dealing with contracts is essential.
You will be required to:
- Cold call possible clients face to face and over the telephone.
- Quote generation, follow up of quotes and courtesy calls to customers
- Account management of existing customers, ensuring sales are maximised from existing business
- Meet targets for area growth and new accounts
The working hours will be 8am to 5pm with a full expensed company car.
The salary for this role is GBP22k plus bonus. With the OTE within the first year of GBP35k, 2nd year GBP45k.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious self-starter with a minimum of 12 months prior sales experience. You will be required to confidently deal with both new & existing customers. You will need to be well organised and must be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving sales targets and delivering against KPIs. You will need an excellent phone manner and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Full training of the industry will be given.
