This is important position will be responsible for managing and developing new and existing relationships with individual donors capable of giving at a major level.

Description
You will be responsible for defining and implementing clear strategies for the identification, cultivation and stewardship of a targeted pipeline of approaches to new and existing donors so as to successfully contribute to the overall funding objectives of the Major Donor team.
The post-holder will sit within a wider Major Giving Team responsible for relationships with Trusts, Foundations, Major Donors and Companies worldwide.
Profile
You should have a strong and successful track record of developing compelling cases for support to secure significant major gifts from new and existing donors.
A proactive approach to maintaining and developing relationships with donors is required, as is the ability to represent the charity at the highest levels. You should have an interest in international development issues and be comfortable working to deadlines as part of a supportive team.
