Product Manager (Europe) - Bedford
The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a major international client to assist them in their search for a Product Manager to join a growing team within the consumer electronics arena. The role will carry a European remit (so expect some travel within Europe) and you will be tasked with promoting a new, but established product range, extending it and enhancing the product suite with new accessories.
The successful candidate will have considerable previous experience as a Product Manager and will be accustomed to managing successful product ranges across multiple European territories. You will understand the nuances of presenting products in different markets and to different demographics and will be experienced in assessing the impact of new products within the range on the existing footprint in each territory. Competitor analysis will be second nature to you and you will be readily able to respond to any changes in market dynamics caused by local events or the introduction of competing or complementary products to the market place.
You will need to keep a close eye on branding and be able to manage packaging arrangements for the core product range as well as for accessories Regular monitoring of pricing structures will be required to safeguard market share and profitability via retail partners and through direct channels.
