An opportunity has arisen with a leading retail bank on an exclusive basis to recruit an ICAAP Manager, based in Central Birmingham as an expansion of the London team. The role offers a huge amount of exposure and visibility an one of Europe's largest and most complex financial services institutions.
About the ICAAP Manager role:
Reporting to the Head of ICAAP, you will manage areas like capital and liquidity risk, as well as risk appetite and policy framework.
Key responsibilities:
* Delivery and oversight of the clients legal entity and key ICAAP's for the purposes of effectively identifying and quantifying risks
* Supply effective risk management capital assessment capability
* Drive regulatory framework changes relating to ICAAP's working closely with business senior management to ensure fit for purpose methodologies
* Ensure the design, documentation and execution of an internal capital adequacy assessment process
The ICAAP Manager will possess prior experience of submitting ICAAPs at a major bank. You should understand the regulations. You may have background experience at a regulator. You will have a very strong numerical and analytical background and have the ability to converse technical material to business stakeholders. You will ideally be educated in a numerate discipline to at least undergraduate level and should also hold a relevant professional qualification such as CFA or Institute of Risk Management.
