Home based position covering Home Counties area including Luton, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Dunstable, Stevenage, Watford, Hitchin, Letchworth, Borehamwood, Ricksmansworth, Potters Bar, Barnet, Hoddesdon
My client are the market leading provider of their specialist capital equipment into the catering and foodservice sectors, targeting government bodies, NHS, education establishments as well as national accounts and catering distributors. They are a cash rich company, and part of a large multi-million pound group of companies whose name is a global brand.
The successful Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer will have good electrical knowledge; you may have been a mobile maintenance technician or mechanical fitter.
The Role
The successful Field Service Engineer / Service Technician will be covering Bristol and on occasion the South West, and will have the following responsibilities:
- Servicing and repairing equipment on a call out basis
- Planned maintenance and repairs
- Equipment Installation
- Warranty checks
- Completing reports and ensuring you have the necessary spare parts
The Candidate
- Must have an Electrical qualification - Minimum NVQ level 2
- 2 years' experience as a service engineer or maintenance technician
- Willing to travel within territory
- City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas qualification would be beneficial
- Problem solving skills
