An exciting role for an experienced Land Buyer from a residential development industry is available with an established but still growing residential developer. Initially based in the Slough area you will be working around the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London areas, working on pre-built networks you should be able to bring new opportunities to the business quickly.

This Company is developing a variety of properties across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London areas and are looking to grow this further. This company is privately-owned development company specialising in the construction of sustainable, high quality bespoke residential developments. They are a forward-thinking business and try to remain at the forefront of the industry by integrating new and upcoming technologies into their projects.
Due to fast growth, the company are now looking for a new Land Buyer and would like someone with previous experience in the building and construction industry and more importantly in residential development.
Description
The Land Buyer - Progressive role with an established developer - will be based in the main office close to Slough but will have the autonomy to work independently in and around the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London areas. It is in these locations the successful Land Buyer will need to show a strong network of contacts to draw from.
In this role you will be responsible for seeking out new opportunities both on and off-market, communicating with vendors and agents on a regular basis. You should be able to effectively research plots of land for potential builds, drawing on the help of technical and design teams if required.
Experience working with local authorities for planning is a requirement and you will need to keep all parties up to date in the progress of each site.
Negotiating the land deals on a variety of plots with solicitors will be a key aspect to the role, maintaining control of the process and increasing the chance of completing the sale.
Profile
The successful Land Buyer - Progressive role with an established developer - will be conducting some of the following duties, but not limited to:
- Research the areas for plots of land for potential builds
- Working with the planning authorities to keep up to date
- Talking to neighbours and residential owners with the prospect of purchasing plots of land
- Negotiate sales price and process the sale with Solicitors
The ideal candidate -
Must have previous house or land purchase experience. This role would be suitable for people with experience as an estate agent and/ or a background in land purchase. You must be commercially savvy and have good communication skills. Therefore, you will be able to communicate professionally at all levels. In addition, the successful Land Buyer will have a keen interest in property and show evidence of this in previous roles/experience. Furthermore, previous negotiating experience is required. You will need to be confident, able to run your own processes and work well independently.

This role is offering between GBP35000 - GBP45000 for the right candidate and there is also an attractive bonus package on offer.
