Job description & Person Specification:
- To provide a nurturing classroom and school environment that helps pupils to develop as learners
- To deliver high quality teaching & learning across the primary and school provision to ensure that these students are given excellent chances to develop their core skills and confidence as learners
- Qualified Teacher Status
- To have experience of Team Teach or be prepared to undertake training in Team Teach
- A good understanding teacher
- Problem solving, creative thinking, team working, customer service, report writing, people management.
- An ability to use Information Technology effectively
- SEMH/SEN Experience desirable
- Primary training
- Must be able to build effective relationships with challenging children and young people
- Must have an approachable and caring personality with integrity
- Must have flexibility, a positive attitude and strength of character
- Must be able to be a good role model to pupils
- Must have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations and model good professional practices at all times
- Must be emotionally literate and emotionally resilient
- Must be able to build, develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and other professionals
- Have a good sense of humour
- Must be physically fit and able to engage in a range of activities with the pupils
- To differentiate within the classroom to meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of abilities
