Nursing Home Manager - RGN qualified
??35,000 per annum
Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00 hours.
Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset
This attractive home offers accommodation for 25 residents. The building has been preserved to maintain its 200 year old heritage in keeping with the surrounding environment. All the bedrooms have been tastefully decorated to maintain the homes character and provide a sense of a home away from home. The home is close to local transport links and the Town centre. There is a spacious lounge situated to the rear of the building and adjacent is a south face garden. A large conservatory is used as a dining room and quiet lounge area.
This is a very good opportunity for a Nursing Home Manager - RGN qualified, which has recently opened in a reputable care home with nursing in Western-Super-Mare.
They are now looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager or an experienced Deputy to take a step up in their career to join their team. This home is fully compliant with CQC and contracts, the home has good occupancy levels.
Core duties: Nursing Home Manager
??? Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
??? Responsible for budget management.
??? Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary.
??? Be responsible for the negotiation of contracts and fees with Local Authorities for new and existing services.
??? You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home, and be an excellent manager of staff.
?? One nursing shift per week on the floor to be done.
Essential Skills:
??? Proven Home Management experience.
??? Nurse qualification required- RGN or RMN - NMC Pin number
??? You will be committed to providing the highest care standards.
??? Excellent communication and leadership skills.
??? Experience of working in the healthcare sector, be driven and motivated and believe in quality care.
??? Strong leadership and management qualities are essential, as is a dynamic and flexible approach to the role
