Senior Engineering Manager

Due to exceptional growth our client, who are a long established engineering company are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer Manager to become a part of their thriving, successful company.

Company:

Our client is a family run business based near Sheffield manufacturing a range of bespoke and novel items of lifting equipment including goods lifts and chandelier winching systems.  Due to increased levels of work and also to enable a better service to be given to our customers in the London area the company is looking to employ a Senior Engineer in the south.  This person will be based at home and must be within reasonable commuting distance of central London.

Candidates should be experienced in both mechanical and electrical engineering and have some formal training.  The role will involve leading a small team of engineers and taking an active, hands-on role in the installation and service of chandelier winching systems and goods lifts.

Role:

• Attending site meetings
• Site surveying for new installations
• Developing risk assessments and method statements for installation work
• Liaising with the designer on the product design
• Setting out on site
• Problem solving on new and existing installations
• Leading installation work
• Service and statutory inspection of existing installations

Salary: Competitive, plus bonus, pension, company Van and travel expenses
