Accounts Senior required the rapidly expanding Business Services team of this mid-tier firm of Chartered Accountants in Ayr. The team provide high quality advice and assistance in every aspect of their clients' financial and accounting needs allowing their owners to concentrate on generating income for their business activities.
Reporting to Senior Management team, you will work with an extensive range of clients from small family-owned limited companies to sizeable limited companies, Charities and Healthcare. The team also advises soletraders and professional partnerships. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of annual accounts, preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, leading with client audits, VAT returns and bookkeeping as well as assisting clients with their accounting systems. Review work of junior members of the team as well as assisting with the mentoring and training as required.
You will be an experienced Accounts Senior with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in either a small firm of Chartered Accountants or alternatively the Business Services/Advisory and Audit team of a mid-tier CA practice.
ACCA/CA preferential however they will consider candidates who are QBE. Strong accounts preparation and audit skills are imperative as is the ability to communicate effectively with clients and work well in team environment
