Digital Skills Training Manager: The essentials.

* A relevant Software Development qualification
* Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Outstanding time management and organisational skills
* A professional yet approachable demeanour
* Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
* Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
* Full UK driving licence and use of own car

Digital Skills Training Manager: Your experience.

* Occupational history and competence within the Software Development industry
* Solid experience with Programming
* Proficient in a range of languages eg. Java, CSS, C++, Microsoft, PHP, HTML etc
* Team Leading/Supervisory/Management experience
* Experience in a similar role
* A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
* The ability to motivate and encourage people
* An interest in helping people develop
* Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
* Maintaining records of learners progress

Digital Skills Training Manager: The desirables.

* Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
* Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA, ACWE, AVRA, IQAA, A2)
* Experience in a training environment
* Knowledge or experience in virtual classroom environments

* What's most important is the Software Development experience.
* GBP30k-GBP45k p/a (depending on experience and qualifications)
