Assessor/Tutor (Business Services & Management) - Sussex
Home based role
GBP24700 pa plus bonus (GBP1870 pa) + travel expenses
Our client is a successful work based learning provider who is looking for a full time tutor/assessor to join its expanding team to assess learners in Woking, Crawley and Brighton. Our client delivers full Apprenticeship frameworks, Traineeships, commercial programmes and qualifications to help unemployed adults gain the skills needed to get into work.
They are seeking an assessor/tutor who is able to cover subject areas including: Customer Service, Business and Administration, Team Leading, Management and preferably Facilities Management.
Tutors must have relevant experience with either a work based training provider or a college and be occupational competent to deliver these qualifications. You will manage a caseload of learners and be required to integrate the functional skills into their training programme.
This is a home based role, so you will need to be organised and self-motivated as you will be arranging to visit learners across the London area. You will also be required to visit the head office in Berkshire on a monthly basis. A full driving licence and own car is highly desirable.
Candidates will have their A1 qualification (or equivalent) and will either have or be prepared to work towards the PTLLS qualification (or equivalent or higher). You must also have a Level 2 competency in Functional Skills in Maths and English or equivalent. Good communication, personal administration and IT skills are important as is an ability to effectively manage relationships with our client employers.
Our client is offering a competitive salary of GBP24700 per annum plus a performance related bonus of GBP1870 paid quarterly.
