Are you a creative, inspiring and passionate KS2 specialist teacher who is currently seeking a job share role? Are you available from Easter and able to commit to a long term assignment?

This position is a Maternity cover for a Year 5 class. The maternity is due to commence at the beginning of May so all applicants must be available on a part time basis 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday). The successful applicant shall be expected to share responsibility for planning, assessment and general teaching abilities and must be able to offer continuity, versatility and passion.

The class in question will be in a transitional period for this reason the successful applicant must be able to 'take the bull by the horns' so to speak and must have previous practical experience working with children in this year group/Key stage.

Due to the time of year all applicants must be dedicated, reliable and able to teach all subjects within the current KS2 curriculum. Teachers with practical experience with topic based learning will be at an advantage however this isn?t essential for your application. The school embraces a creative curriculum and there KS2 Department was awarded 'OUTSTANDING' in there last OFSTED inspection.

Teachers in this school support pupils of different ability levels, SEN, EAL and from many different home lives, across EYFS, key stage one and two. Additionally this school offers there pupils a creative curriculum, embraces outdoor learning and offers all children the opportunity to explore extra curricular activities and clubs.
