The Primary teacher role
You will have a Key Stage 2 teaching timetable, and you will be focusing on raising literacy levels in Year 5, both in your own teaching group and sharing good practice amongst your colleagues. Your Senior Leadership mentor will support you with this, along with the Year 6 teacher for 2017-18, who is an experienced Key Stage 2 primary teacher and Learning Leader. You will also have a helpful Teaching Assistant, who is a former primary school teacher herself. The classrooms in this school are spacious and modern and have a warm and engaging atmosphere that is perfect for young learners.
