LOCATION: Thame, Oxfordshire
JOB TITLE: Warehouse Picker / Packer
SALARY & BENEFITS: Good rates of pay dependent on experience plus generous profit related bonus scheme to all employees after 3 months of service
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Various shift patterns available (Mon to Weds 6am - 2pm & 8am to 5pm Thurs & Fri or 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday or 12noon to 8pm Mon to Weds & 8am to 5pm Thurs & Fri)
THE COMPANY: Our client have been supplying sewing accessories and needlecrafts to the retail trade for over 50 years who are now the leading independent distributor of these items to many retail outlets in the UK. With over 50,000 items stocked they are experts in providing the trade with an exceptional range of products and a level of service which is renowned throughout the sector.
Due to continued successful growth they now seek reliable, and committed Warehouse Picker / Packers to join their team to work out their modern warehouse facility in Thame, Oxfordshire.
THE ROLE: As a Warehouse Picker / Packer you will work within a team and be responsible for picking and packing sewing and needlecrafts accessories using an electronic scanning gun. You will ensure that correct items are accurately picked, scanned items once picked to update records, and work safely within a team following Health & Safety regulations and company guidelines.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Warehouse Picker / Packer position must be an enthusiastic and motivated person who can work well in a team but also on your own using your own imitative. Candidates with previous experience in a warehouse are encourage to apply but this is not essential. You must have good communication skills.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Warehouse Picker / Packer role in Thame, Oxfordshire :-
- Must live within or be able to commute to Thame, Oxfordshire
- It is essential you are motivated and a reliable person
- Must have good communication skills
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
