As we continue to grow an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Service Manager to join our team and ensure the day to day running of the department is smooth and profitable, whilst being an integral member of the Management Team.

Duties will include:
To manage the diary & holiday planner on a daily basis to ensure there is an optimum amount of work booked to achieve the BMW sales objectives.
To oversee effective communication between the various Service department sub-groups and the Parts department team to ensure the timely ordering of parts in order to optimise our chances of fixing vehicles 'first time'.
To oversee the training and development of BMW Technicians and Service team members in order that their knowledge and skills is sufficiently up-to-date to work effectively on all vehicles and provide the highest levels of customer care.
To ensure the delivery of outstanding levels of Customer Satisfaction, whilst maintaining the right balance with profitability and customer retention.
To oversee effective customer check-in, check-out, pre-call and follow up call activities.
To ensure there is an effective and regular performance review process for every BMW Service team member.
To oversee high standards of housekeeping, presentation and care of customers' property.
To develop an effective and profitable accessory sales programme in conjunction with the BMW car sales operation.
To manage the timely invoicing of Work-In-Progress, and to ensure that actions are underway to recover all authorised debt in a timely manner.
